HOME DECOR
At Mariposa Design Inc. you will discover a well curated collection of items for your home or cottage. Susan’s background in interior design and her passion for linens, dishes, art and collectibles is apparent in every corner of her business – whether at her bricks & mortar shoppe or here on her website.
For the bedroom: quilts, sheet sets and duvet covers are available in king, queen, double and twin. We offer the essentials for your bed as well – items such as duvets, bed pillows & pillow covers and mattress pad covers.
For bath: we offer bamboo bath towels that are a customer favourite, bath accessories and the luxurious products from Michel Design Works.
For kitchen, it delights us to know that there are many who still love to adorn their homes with linens & textiles. We offer a wide variety of quality tablecloths, place mats, table runners, oven mitts, tea towels etc. for the kitchen and dining room. We also feature the ‘Made in the U.K.’ brown betty tea pot, lovely cups & mugs, Pimpernel cork back placemats, Basic Spirit pewter spreaders, cake servers and so much more!!

About Susan
Susan Storie – Mariposa Design Inc.
Susan graduated high school in her hometown of Perth, Ontario and then went on to receive a Diploma, Interior Design at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario.
Susan spent her 25+year career in Interior Design, Construction and Project Management working in Southwestern Ontario, Bermuda and Ottawa.
In 2012 Susan opened her bricks & mortar shoppe on Foster Street in Perth. This cozy & friendly wee shoppe soon became a favourite place offering a combination of vintage, locally handmade and new items for home & cottage.
Mariposa Design Inc. expanded in 2016, when Susan purchased another local business and relocated to 32 Gore Street East in Perth. The beautiful products from both businesses were brought together to create a destination shoppe and a delight to browse.
In 2022 Mariposa Design became an incorporated business and 2024 brings with it the 12th Anniversary of this ongoing destination boutique!
